Hellerrr, my name is Claire Challenger and I am unnaturally obsessed with baking. I started when I was about nine years old when I made my first, homemade lemon curd, a somewhat difficult task no matter what age. I made some sort of lemon mousse with it and then my career took off. I mostly used mixes until I was in 6th or 7th grade. Then I got into the crazy stuff. I have taken many classes and plan to take many more in the future.
FYI my decorating looks less like this...
and more like this!
(Thank God)
I love Christmas more than you could ever imagine, I also love England and I am headed there with one of my best friends, Sara, in the fall. I love having cookouts in the summer and spending time in the sun. I am a Pi Phi at Denison University, and although most/all of my friends there are from the East Coast, I am a Chicago gal, born and raised.
On the left are two of my freaky best friends from school.
I travel a lot and love to explore weird and unusual foods. I am always trying new restaurants and ordering strange things from the menus. I have wonderful parents, three decent older brothers, and a crazy, weird little sister. They all have helped me to become a better baker by challenging me and giving me honest, sometimes unwanted, criticism.
This is my sister Eleanor and me in London this past year.
I haul baked goods around with me wherever I go. Back in high school I dragged bags of tupperware where ever I went. After each college break I come back with a suitcase filled with goodies rather than clothes.
This is extremely awkward for me...
Who ever you are, thanks for visiting my blog and I hope you enjoy! Leave comments and ask questions.
Maybe some day I'll look back and say... "It all started out with a blog."
Quick shout-out to my E-Commerce Rep, Meagan Schade!
